Please feel free to drop in just to play ANYTIME during Centre hours

  • Coffee and Juice are provided at all times.
  • Parents and Caregivers need to bring childrens’ snacks.
  • Indoor shoes are required.
  • Programs listed on the calendar do not require registration.

S.P.L.I.C.E Babies @ Parent Link Centre

Morning: 10:00 AM

This program will offer ideas on how to develop your babies’ social, physical, language, intellectual, creative and emotional well-being through planned and free play activities. Discussions around infant development are also a part of this fun and interesting program.

Meet other moms, experienced and new, that have babies the same age! For ages 0-12 months.

Free Play Day @ Parent Link

Triple P Workshop @ PLC

Morning: 9:15 to 11:15 AM Triple P Positive Parenting Program for every parent

Group Triple P is a positive parenting program for parents of children 2-12 years old looking for help in positive parenting skills and general strategies.

Group Triple P—Four, 2 hour small group sharing sessions for parents of children aged 2-12 years looking for help in positive parenting skills & general strategies. Application of parenting skills to a wide range of behaviors such as aggressive behavior, disobedience, or bullying problems.

  • February 8 — Session #4 : Parents will design, implement and evaluate planned activities routines for preventing high risk situations with their child. Also be available for 3 telephone sessions and call their “buddy” once a week for support.

Childcare is provided. Registration is required. Please contact Penny at Wainwright Parent Link Centre to register.

Positive Parenting Program circular

Field Trip @ Wainwright Post Office

Morning: 10:30 AM

Come to Parent Link in February to experience what it’s like to be a Postal Worker. Lots of fun things to see and do. Also, sign up at PLC to go on a tour of the Post Office here in Wainwright. Be sure to bring a letter to mail! (Stamps provided.) Meet at the Post Office.

Join us for a fun hour! Learn rhymes to take home and use with your little ones. This one hour program offers Bouncing Rhymes, Circle Rhymes, Snack Time and a Short Story.

Banana Bunch @ Parent Link Centre

for Day Home Providers

Morning: 9:30 AM to Noon

Parent Link welcomes all Day home Providers to come for a morning of fun. There will be coffee, games, songs, and simple crafts provided. This is an opportunity for day home providers to bring their children, and the children they care for, to our indoor playground and to meet other providers in the area!
