Living At Home Service
A Program for Wainwright and Area Seniors
Now under the management of Wainwright & District F.C.S, this program provides a range of services that enable mature citizens to remain living independently in their own homes.
Living at Home Overview
Launched in June, 2008 the Living At Home program is here to serve seniors residing in Chauvin, Edgerton and Irma, rural areas of the MD of Wainwright and within the Town of Wainwright. We assist with day-to-day household duties including light house keeping and shopping for and preparation of regular and diet friendly meals.

The program is delivered by our L@H Assistants who are reliable and responsible individuals who have been carefully screened and hired for their caring attitude towards people as well as their practical experience. We support the learning needs of our staff through periodic training and skill development specific to their needs and the needs of those they serve.
What Does the Service Include?

- Food preparation, including marketing and attention to special dietary requirements, if necessary.
