Assisting mature citizens to remain in their homes

Program Assistant

WDFCS continues to invite applications for the positions of Program Assistants: September 2009 (or any date after) will be the start date.

As a self motivated Program Assistant, you will be responsible for performing household duties that allow seniors to live independently in their own homes. As the successful candidate you will exhibit excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and relate well to seniors.

Qualifications

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • A demonstrated record of friendly service
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle
  • Valid RCMP security check
  • CPR and Standard First Aid Training, or willing to obtain
  • Experience is a definite asset; however, for candidates with an aptitude for service, training will be provided. These are part time positions with flexible working hours. Wages will be commensurate with experience.
